Plumbing Service Rooted in Harwood Heights
Mike Novak founded Home Service Plumbing to deliver reliable work in the neighborhoods where he grew up, running the operation from its base at 4338 North Newland in Harwood Heights. The crew stays busy with calls in Harwood Heights and Norridge, where many homes sit on older lines that shift with the freeze-thaw cycles common in Cook County.
Winter temperatures in the humid continental climate often push below freezing and stress exposed pipes near foundations, while hot summers increase demand for water heater and drain work. From that central location near Harwood Heights Village Hall and Ridgeland Commons, the team reaches jobs in nearby Park Ridge and Chicago without long travel delays.
Home Service Plumbing keeps regular hours so residents know when help is available and focuses on clear explanations before any work begins.
I started Home Service Plumbing after years handling calls in the older homes around Harwood Heights and Norridge, where Cook County winters freeze pipes and summer heat spikes water use near Ridgeland Commons and Harwood Heights Village Hall. Working as a Plumbing Contractor from 4338 North Newland, Harwood Heights, IL, 60706, I cover Chicago and Park Ridge with steady service during our posted hours.

Testimonials
What Harwood Heights, IL Customers Say
“Our kitchen sink in the 1950s ranch kept backing up from grease and food scraps. The plumber snaked the line all the way to the main and cleared a stubborn clog without digging up the yard. Drains now flow freely and we have not had any backups since.”
“The toilet in the upstairs bathroom started running nonstop after the fill valve failed. They replaced the fill valve and flapper on the spot, adjusted the water level, and the unit stopped running immediately. Our next water bill dropped noticeably.”
“Shower pressure had dropped to a trickle from mineral buildup in the old galvanized pipes. They cleaned the showerhead aerator, flushed the line, and replaced a corroded shutoff valve under the floor. Hot water now comes out strong and steady again.”
